Sydney Airport Terminal Overview
Sydney Airport (SYD) has three passenger terminals. Knowing which terminal you need ensures a smooth and stress-free transfer with Campbelltown Transfers.
INTERNATIONAL
Terminal 1 (T1)
International Flights
Location
Located on the southern side of the airport, separate from domestic terminals. Access via Airport Drive.
Pickup Location
- Arrivals Level (Ground Floor)
- Exit through arrivals hall
- Cross to the pickup zone
- Look for our driver with your name sign
Drop-off Location
- Departures Level (Upper Level)
- We'll drop you at the door closest to your airline check-in

Terminal 2 (T2)
Virgin, Rex & Regional Airlines
Location
Northern side of the airport, connected to T3 via a covered walkway (5-minute walk).
Pickup Location
- Priority Pickup Zone (P1)
- Exit arrivals, turn right
- Follow signs to Priority Pickup
- Our driver will meet you there
Drop-off Location
- Departures forecourt
- Direct drop-off at terminal entrance

Terminal 3 (T3)
Qantas Domestic
Location
Adjacent to T2 on the northern side. The main Qantas hub for all domestic services.
Pickup Location
- Priority Pickup Zone
- Exit arrivals hall
- Follow Priority Pickup signs
- Bay numbers will be provided via SMS
Drop-off Location
- Departures forecourt
- Convenient drop-off near check-in

Pickup Instructions
Follow these steps for a seamless pickup at Sydney Airport
For Arrivals (Airport Pickup)
When your flight lands, follow these steps:
- Step 1: Collect your luggage from the baggage carousel
- Step 2: Pass through customs/security (international) or proceed to arrivals (domestic)
- Step 3: Turn on your phone and check for our SMS with driver details
- Step 4: Exit the terminal and head to the pickup zone as directed
- Step 5: Look for our driver holding a sign with your name
- Step 6: If you can't find us, call the number provided in your SMS
Free Waiting Time Included
Domestic flights: 30-40 minutes free waiting from your flight's actual landing time.
International flights: 60-70 minutes free waiting to account for customs and baggage collection.
For Departures (Airport Drop-off)
We'll get you to the airport with plenty of time to spare:
- Pickup time: We recommend being picked up 2 hours before domestic flights, 3 hours before international
- Door-to-door service: We'll collect you from your home or specified address
- Terminal drop-off: We'll drop you at the correct terminal for your airline
- Luggage assistance: Our driver will help unload your bags at the terminal
Important: Know Your Terminal
Please confirm which terminal your flight departs from before your journey. You can check this on your airline's website or boarding pass. If you're unsure, let us know your airline and flight number when booking.
Transferring Between Terminals
Need to move between terminals? Here's what you need to know
T2 and T3 (Domestic Terminals)
These terminals are connected and easy to navigate between:
- Walking: 5-10 minute covered walkway connects both terminals
- Location: Both on the northern side of the airport
- No transport needed: Simply walk between them after security
T1 (International) to T2/T3 (Domestic)
The international terminal is separate from domestic terminals:
- Distance: Approximately 3-4 km between T1 and T2/T3
- T-Bus: Free shuttle bus runs every 10-15 minutes (allow 15-20 mins)
- Train: Take the Airport Link train one stop between terminals
- Campbelltown Transfers: We can transfer you directly - just let us know when booking
Connecting International to Domestic?
If you're arriving on an international flight and connecting to a domestic flight, allow at least 2-3 hours between flights. You'll need to:
- Clear immigration and customs at T1
- Collect and re-check your luggage
- Transfer to T2 or T3
- Pass through domestic security
Airport Tips & Advice
Make your airport experience smoother with these helpful tips
Arrive Early
Allow 2 hours for domestic and 3 hours for international flights. Peak times (6-9am, 4-7pm) may require extra time.
Check-in Online
Most airlines allow online check-in 24-48 hours before departure. This saves time at the airport.
Keep Phone Charged
Ensure your phone has battery when landing so you can receive our SMS with driver details and contact us if needed.
Know Your Flight Number
We track your flight in real-time. Having your flight number ensures we're there when you land, even if delayed.
Luggage Trolleys
Free trolleys are available throughout the terminals. Look for trolley bays near baggage carousels and exits.
Currency Exchange
Multiple currency exchange outlets in all terminals. ATMs are also available throughout the airport.
